Two-component PVC glue – 100% airtight sealing

This professional two-component PVC glue kit is suitable for repairing SUP boards and other inflatable watercraft where 100% airtight sealing is required.

With this two-component adhesive, you can easily repair cracks, holes, tears, and other damage on your inflatable equipment.

Small leaks (holes up to approx. 12 mm) can be repaired using a round patch.

Larger cuts or damaged areas up to approx. 75 mm can also be repaired.

What does the professional repair kit include?

The professional kit includes:

  • 125 ml professional PVC glue for SUP boards
  • Hardener (activator) 5 ml
  • Cleaner 5 ml

How to use two-component PVC glue

Preparation

We recommend lightly sanding both the patch and the repair area with very fine sandpaper.

Then clean both surfaces thoroughly using alcohol or the supplied cleaner.

Mark the repair area with a pen to prevent the patch from slipping out of position and affecting the appearance of the product.

The recommended temperature during the repair process is between 18 °C and 25 °C, with relative humidity at or below 60%.

Avoid direct sunlight and rain during the process. Perform the repair in a well-ventilated area and avoid direct contact with the glue or its vapors. If possible, use thin protective gloves.

Gluing process

  • Apply the first thin layer of PVC glue to the product (boat, kayak, SUP, etc.) and let it dry for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Apply a second thin layer of glue to the patch and let it dry for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Apply a third very thin layer of glue to the patch (all three layers must be extremely thin).
  • Allow all glued surfaces to dry for 5–10 minutes, then place the patch onto the repair area. Adjust its position if necessary.
  • Press firmly with your thumbs to push out any air bubbles, starting from the center and moving outward.
  • Use a hard object (roller) to ensure maximum adhesion.
  • Remove excess glue with the cleaner only if glue has spilled outside the repair area.

Warning

The PVC glue must cure for 24 hours before inflating the air chambers. Even if the surface appears dry, do not inflate earlier.

The repaired area must not be exposed to sunlight, rain, or other external influences during curing.
